John 12:33-35

33 He said this (A)to show by what kind of death he was going to die. 34 So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the Law that (B)the Christ remains for ever. How can you say that (C)the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” 35 So Jesus said to them, (D)“The light is among you (E)for a little while longer. (F)Walk while you have the light, lest darkness (G)overtake you. (H)The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

33 He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.(A)
34 The crowd spoke up, “We have heard from the Law(B) that the Messiah will remain forever,(C) so how can you say, ‘The Son of Man(D) must be lifted up’?(E) Who is this ‘Son of Man’?”
35 Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light(F) just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light,(G) before darkness overtakes you.(H) Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.
