³⁴ The crowd then answered Him, “We have heard out of ^(A)the Law that ^[a](B)the Christ is to remain forever; and how can You say, ‘The ^(C)Son of Man must be ^(D)lifted up’? Who is this ^(E)Son of Man?”

²⁵ But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their ^(A)Law, ‘^(B)They hated Me without a cause.’

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the ^(A)Law says, it speaks to ^(B)those who are ^[a]under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and ^(C)all the world may become accountable to God;

²¹ In ^(A)the Law it is written, “^(B)By men of strange tongues and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people, and even so they will not listen to Me,” says the Lord.
