³⁸^(A)so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

^(B)“Lord, who has believed what he heard from us,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

³⁸This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:

“Lord, who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”^[a]^(A)

¹⁶But ^(A)they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, ^(B)“Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?”

¹⁶But not all the Israelites accepted the good news.^(A) For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”^[a]^(B)
