³Jesus, ^(A)knowing that the Father had handed all things over to Him, and that ^(B)He had come forth from God and was going back to God,

New International Version

³Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power,^(A) and that he had come from God^(B) and was returning to God;

⁵Then He *poured water into the basin, and began ^(A)washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which He had tied around Himself.

⁵After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet,^(A) drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
