¹⁹ In a little while the world will no longer see me,^(A) but you will see me.^(B) Because I live, you will live^(C) too.

¹¹ And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead^(A) lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through^[a] his Spirit who lives in you.

¹⁴ God raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.^(A)

¹⁸ Those, then, who have fallen asleep in Christ^(A) have also perished. ¹⁹ If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.

Christ’s Resurrection Guarantees Ours

²⁰ But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits^(B) of those who have fallen asleep.

¹⁴ For we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus^(A) and present us with you.
