29 “And (A)now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, (B)for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has (C)nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and (D)as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

He has no hold over me, 31 but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.(C)
