John 15:6-8
International Standard Version
6 Unless a person abides in me, he is thrown away like a pruned[a] branch and dries up. People gather such branches,[b] throw them into a fire, and they are burned up.
7 “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you can ask for anything you want, and you’ll receive it. 8 This is how my Father is glorified, when you produce a lot of fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.(A) 7 If you remain in me(B) and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.(C) 8 This is to my Father’s glory,(D) that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.(E)
