If any person is not in me, he is cut off like a branch and dies. People gather the dry branches and throw them into the fire to be burned.

If you are in me and obey me, you may ask me for anything you want and I will give it to you.

If you do much good and become my disciples, you will make my Father's name great.

If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.(A) If you remain in me(B) and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.(C) This is to my Father’s glory,(D) that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.(E)
