¹³ But when He, ^(A)the Spirit of truth, comes, He will ^(B)guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

²³ except that ^(A)the Holy Spirit solemnly ^(B)testifies to me in every city, saying that ^(C)chains and afflictions await me.

¹¹ And he came to us and ^(A)took Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands, and said, “This ^(B)is what the Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews in Jerusalem will ^(C)bind the man who owns this belt and ^(D)hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

^10 [a](A)For to us God revealed them ^(B)through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the ^(C)depths of God. ¹¹ For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the ^(D)spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. ¹² Now we ^(E)have not received the spirit of ^(F)the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. ¹³ We also speak these things, ^(G)not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, ^[b]combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

¹⁴ But ^[c]a ^(H)natural person ^(I)does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are ^(J)foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. ¹⁵ But the one who is ^(K)spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is ^[d]discerned by no one. ¹⁶ For ^(L)who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But ^(M)we have the mind of Christ.
