³²This happened so that ^(A)the word of Jesus which He said, indicating what kind of death He was going to die, would be fulfilled.

New International Version

³²This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.^(A)

¹⁹Now He said this, ^(A)indicating by ^(B)what kind of death he would glorify God. And when He had said this, He *said to him, “^(C)Follow Me!”

¹⁹Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death^(A) by which Peter would glorify God.^(B) Then he said to him, “Follow me!”^(C)
