¹⁴ Therefore when the people saw the ^[a]sign which He had done, they were saying, “This is truly the ^(A)Prophet who is to come into the world.”

³⁰ So they said to Him, “^(A)What then do You do for a ^(B)sign so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform?

The Leaders Plot to Kill Jesus

⁴⁷ Therefore ^(A)the chief priests and the Pharisees ^(B)gathered the ^[a](C)Sanhedrin together, and were saying, “What are we doing? For this man is doing many ^[b](D)signs.

^18 (A)For this reason also the crowd went and met Him, ^(B)because they heard that He had done this ^[a]sign.

³⁷ But though He had done so many ^[a]signs before them, they still were not believing in Him,
