¹³And the pask of Jews was nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

¹⁴And he found in the temple men selling oxen, and sheep, and culvers, and [money-]changers sitting.

¹⁵And when he had made as it were a scourge of small cords, he drove out all of the temple, and oxen, and sheep^[a]; and he shedded [out] the money of changers, and turned upside-down the boards.

Jesus Clears the Temple Courts^(A)

¹³When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover,^(B) Jesus went up to Jerusalem.^(C) ¹⁴In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves,^(D) and others sitting at tables exchanging money.^(E) ¹⁵So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
