18 Mary the Magdalene comes, announcing to the disciples that “I have seen the Lord”, and that He said these things to her.
That Evening, Jesus Meets Ten of The Disciples And Says, Receive The Holy Spirit
19 Then— being evening on that first[a] day of the week, and the doors having been locked where the disciples were because of the fear of the Jews— Jesus came and stood in their midst. And He says to them, “Peace to you”. 20 And having said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced, having seen the Lord.

- John 20:19 That is, Sunday night. This is the Roman way of speaking. For the Jews, Saturday night (as we call it) was the evening of the first day.

18 Mary Magdalene(A) went to the disciples(B) with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders,(C) Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(D) be with you!”(E) 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side.(F) The disciples were overjoyed(G) when they saw the Lord.
