5 And having stooped-to-look, he sees the linen-cloths lying there, but he did not enter. 6 Then Simon Peter also comes, following him. And he entered into the tomb. And he sees the linen-cloths lying there, 7 and the face-cloth which was on His head— not lying with the linen-cloths, but apart-from them, having been wrapped-up[a] in one place.

- John 20:7 Or, rolled-up, folded-up. The point of all this detail is that the graveclothes were not missing or strewn about, as would be the case if the body had been stolen.

5 He bent over and looked in(A) at the strips of linen(B) lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head.(C) The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen.
