²³ Therefore this saying went out among ^(A)the brethren that that disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain ^(B)until I come, what is that to you?”

^15 [a]At this time Peter stood up in the midst of ^(A)the brethren (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty ^[b]persons was there together), and said,

³ Therefore, ^(A)brethren, select from among you seven men of good reputation, ^(B)full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task.

³⁰ But when ^(A)the brethren learned of it, they brought him down to ^(B)Caesarea and ^(C)sent him away to ^(D)Tarsus.

¹⁵ And the ^(A)brethren, when they heard about us, came from there as far as the ^[a]Market of Appius and ^[b]Three Inns to meet us; and when Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.

^13 (A)I do not want you to be unaware, ^(B)brethren, that often I ^(C)have planned to come to you (and have been prevented so far) so that I may obtain some ^(D)fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.
