John 3:18-20

18 Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. 20 For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed.

18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned,(A) but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.(B) 19 This is the verdict: Light(C) has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.(D) 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.(E)
