²⁸ Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voice ²⁹ and come out—those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of condemnation.

²¹ For since death^(A) came through a man,^(B) the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.^{(C) 22} For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.^(D)

The Saints Reign with Christ

⁴ Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge.^(A) I also saw the souls of those^(B) who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus^(C) and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands.^(D) They came to life^(E) and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.^{(F) 5} The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed.

This is the first resurrection.
