19 And when they had rowed about five and twenty, or thirty furlongs, they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near unto the ship: so they were afraid.
20 But he said unto them, It is I: be not afraid.
21 Then [a]willingly they received him into the ship, and the ship was by and by at the land, whither they went.

19 When they had rowed about three or four miles,[a] they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water;(A) and they were frightened. 20 But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”(B) 21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
