3 Jesus went up a mountain and found a place to sit down and teach. His disciples gathered around. 4 The celebration of the Passover, one of the principal Jewish feasts, would take place soon. 5 But when Jesus looked up, He could see an immense crowd coming toward Him. Jesus approached Philip.

3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside(A) and sat down with his disciples. 4 The Jewish Passover Festival(B) was near.
5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip,(C) “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?”
