58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not as the fathers ate and died. The one who eats[a] this bread will live forever.”[b]

59 He said these things while[c] teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum. 60 Thus many of his disciples, when they[d] heard it,[e] said, “This saying is hard! Who can understand it?”

58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”(A) 59 He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.
