John 6:58-60
New Testament for Everyone
58 This is the bread which came down from heaven; it isn’t like the bread which the ancestors ate, and died. The one who eats this bread will share the life of God’s new age.”
59 He said this in the synagogue, while he was teaching in Capernaum.

60 When they heard this, many of Jesus’ disciples said, “This is difficult stuff! Who can bear to listen to it?”

58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”(A) 59 He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.
Many Disciples Desert Jesus
60 On hearing it, many of his disciples(B) said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”(C)
