16 Jesus answered them, “My teaching isn’t Mine but is from the One who sent Me.(A) 17 If anyone wants to do His will,(B) he will understand whether the teaching is from God or if I am speaking on My own. 18 The one who speaks for himself seeks his own glory.(C) But He who seeks the glory(D) of the One who sent Him is true,(E) and there is no unrighteousness in Him.(F)

It comes from the one who sent me.(A) 17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out(B) whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18 Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory,(C) but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.
