¹⁹Has not Moses given you the law?^(A) Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?”^(B)

⁷The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and ^(A)according to that law he ought to die because ^(B)he has made himself the Son of God.”

⁷The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die,^(A) because he claimed to be the Son of God.”^(B)
