John 7:28-30
International Children’s Bible
28 Jesus was still teaching in the Temple. He cried out, “Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. But I have not come by my own authority. I was sent by the One who is true. You don’t know him. 29 But I know him. I am from him, and he sent me.”
30 When Jesus said this, they tried to seize him. But no one was able to touch him. It was not yet the right time.

28 Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts,(A) cried out, “Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from.(B) I am not here on my own authority, but he who sent me is true.(C) You do not know him, 29 but I know him(D) because I am from him and he sent me.”(E)
30 At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him,(F) because his hour had not yet come.(G)
