³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer ^(A)the light is with you. ^(B)Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; ^(C)he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

³³ Little children, I shall be with you a ^(A)little while longer. You will seek Me; ^(B)and as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come,’ so now I say to you.

Indwelling of the Father and the Son

¹⁹ “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but ^(A)you will see Me. ^(B)Because I live, you will live also.

⁴⁰ Then they took the body of Jesus, and ^(A)bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury. ⁴¹ Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. ⁴² So ^(B)there they laid Jesus, ^(C)because of the Jews’ Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby.

The Apostles Commissioned^(A)

^19 (B)Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were ^[a]assembled, for ^(C)fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, ^(D)“Peace be with you.”
