¹² Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ^(A)“I am the light of the world. He who ^(B)follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

^46 (A)I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

¹⁷ I will ^[a]deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, ^(A)to whom I ^[b]now send you, ^18 (B)to open their eyes, in order ^(C)to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, ^(D)that they may receive forgiveness of sins and ^(E)an inheritance among those who are ^(F)sanctified^[c] by faith in Me.’

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of ^(A)darkness into His marvelous light;

^12 (A)giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of ^(B)the inheritance of the saints in the light. ¹³ He has delivered us from ^(C)the power of darkness ^(D)and ^[a]conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
