14 “Even if I do give evidence about myself,” replied Jesus to them, “my evidence is true, because I know where I came from and where I’m going to. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going to. 15 You are judging in merely human terms; I don’t judge anyone. 16 But even if I do judge, my judgment is true, because I’m not a lone voice; I have on my side the father who sent me.

14 Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going.(A) But you have no idea where I come from(B) or where I am going. 15 You judge by human standards;(C) I pass judgment on no one.(D) 16 But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me.(E)
