³⁷I know that you are ^(A)Abraham’s descendants; yet ^(B)you are seeking to kill Me, because My word ^[a]has no place in you.

³⁷I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me,^(A) because you have no room for my word.

³⁹They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is ^(A)our father.” Jesus *said to them, “^(B)If you are Abraham’s children, do the deeds of Abraham.

³⁹“Abraham is our father,” they answered.
