John 9:6

⁶When He had said these things, ^(A)He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay.

New International Version

⁶After saying this, he spit^(A) on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.

⁶When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

⁷And He said to him, “Go, wash ^(A)in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So ^(B)he went and washed, and came back seeing.

⁷“Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam”^(A) (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.^(B)

⁷And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
