³⁴ Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in ^(A)your ^(B)Law: ‘^(C)I said, you are gods’?

⁸ However at that time, ^(A)when you did not know God, you were ^(B)slaves to ^(C)those which by nature are not gods.

⁵ For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and ^(A)you will ^[a]become like God, knowing good and evil.”
