The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

¹⁹ “In a little while the world will see Me no longer,^(A) but you will see Me.^(B) Because I live, you will live^(C) too.

¹¹ And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead^(A) lives in you, then He who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through^[a] His Spirit who lives in you.

¹⁴ God raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.^(A)

¹⁸ Therefore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ^(A) have also perished. ¹⁹ If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.

Christ’s Resurrection Guarantees Ours

²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits^(B) of those who have fallen asleep.

¹⁴ We know that the One who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus^(A) and present us with you.

²³ I am pressured by both. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ^(A)—which is far better^(B)—
