¹⁶ You did not choose me, but ^(A)I chose you and appointed you that you should go and ^(B)bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that ^(C)whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

⁶ which has come to you, as indeed ^(A)in the whole world it is ^(B)bearing fruit and growing—as it also does among you, since the day you ^(C)heard it and understood ^(D)the grace of God in truth,

¹⁰ so as ^(A)to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, ^(B)fully pleasing to him, ^(C)bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
