²⁶ So when Jesus saw His mother, and ^(A)the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He *said to His mother, “^(B)Woman, behold, your son!”

² So she *ran and *came to Simon Peter and to the other ^(A)disciple whom Jesus loved, and *said to them, “^(B)They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we do not know where they have put Him.”

^7 (A)Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved *said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea.

²⁰ Peter turned around and *saw the ^(A)disciple whom Jesus loved following them—the one who also had ^(B)leaned back on His chest at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who is betraying You?”
