Joshua Prepares for the Invasion
10 Joshua instructed[a] the leaders of the people: 11 “Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.’”[b]
12 Joshua told the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh:

10 So Joshua ordered the officers of the people:(A) 11 “Go through the camp(B) and tell the people, ‘Get your provisions(C) ready. Three days(D) from now you will cross the Jordan(E) here to go in and take possession(F) of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.’”
12 But to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh,(G) Joshua said,
