⁶ “Be strong and courageous,^(A) for you will distribute the land I swore to their ancestors to give them as an inheritance.^{(B) 7} Above all, be strong and very courageous to observe carefully the whole instruction my servant Moses commanded you.^(C) Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go.

¹³ Then you will succeed if you carefully follow the statutes and ordinances the Lord commanded Moses for Israel.^(A) Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or discouraged.^(B)

⁷ “Be strong and courageous!^(A) Don’t be afraid or discouraged before the king of Assyria or before the large army that is with him, for there are more with us than with him.^(B)
