⁸ The Lord handed them over to Israel, and they struck them down, pursuing them as far as greater Sidon and Misrephoth-maim, and to the east as far as the Valley of Mizpeh.^(A) They struck them down, leaving no survivors.^(B)

³² Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to fight against them, and the Lord handed them over^(A) to him.

¹² The men of the garrison called to Jonathan and his armor-bearer. “Come on up, and we’ll teach you a lesson!” they said.

“Follow me,” Jonathan told his armor-bearer, “for the Lord has handed them over to Israel.”^(A)
