Kings Defeated by Israel

12 Now these are the ^(A)kings of the land whom the sons of Israel ^[a]defeated, and whose land they possessed beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the valley of the Arnon as far as Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah to the east:

⁸ With ^[a]the other half-tribe, the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance which Moses gave them ^(A)beyond the Jordan to the east, just as Moses the servant of the Lord gave to them;
