2 (A)This is the land that yet remains: all the (B)regions of the Philistines, and all those of the Geshurites 3 (from the (C)Shihor, which is east of Egypt, northward to the boundary of Ekron, it is counted as Canaanite; (D)there are five rulers of the Philistines, those of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron), and those of (E)the Avvim, 4 in the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the boundary of (F)the Amorites, 5 and the land of the (G)Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from (H)Baal-gad below Mount Hermon to (I)Lebo-hamath, 6 all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to (J)Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians. I myself will drive (K)them out from before the people of Israel. Only (L)allot the land to Israel (M)for an inheritance, as I have commanded you. 7 Now therefore (N)divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and half the tribe of Manasseh.”

2 “This is the land that remains: all the regions of the Philistines(A) and Geshurites,(B) 3 from the Shihor River(C) on the east of Egypt to the territory of Ekron(D) on the north, all of it counted as Canaanite though held by the five Philistine rulers(E) in Gaza, Ashdod,(F) Ashkelon,(G) Gath and Ekron; the territory of the Avvites(H) 4 on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, from Arah of the Sidonians as far as Aphek(I) and the border of the Amorites;(J) 5 the area of Byblos;(K) and all Lebanon(L) to the east, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon(M) to Lebo Hamath.(N)
6 “As for all the inhabitants of the mountain regions from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim,(O) that is, all the Sidonians, I myself will drive them out(P) before the Israelites. Be sure to allocate this land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have instructed you,(Q) 7 and divide it as an inheritance(R) among the nine tribes and half of the tribe of Manasseh.”
