Joshua 14:12-14

12 Now give me this mountain region which the Lord promised me that day, as you yourself heard. True, the Anakim are there, with large fortified cities, but if the Lord is with me I shall be able to dispossess them, as the Lord promised.”(A) 13 Joshua blessed Caleb, son of Jephunneh, and gave him Hebron as his heritage.(B) 14 Therefore Hebron remains the heritage of the Kenizzite Caleb, son of Jephunneh, to the present day, because he was completely loyal to the Lord, the God of Israel.

12 Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day.(A) You yourself heard then that the Anakites(B) were there and their cities were large and fortified,(C) but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.”
13 Then Joshua blessed(D) Caleb son of Jephunneh(E) and gave him Hebron(F) as his inheritance.(G) 14 So Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the Lord, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly.(H)

13 And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.
14 Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the Lord God of Israel.
