13 So Joshua (A)blessed him and (B)gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance. 14 Therefore, Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he followed the Lord God of Israel fully. 15 Now the name of Hebron was previously [a]Kiriath-arba; for Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim. (C)Then the land was at rest from war.

13 Then Joshua blessed(A) Caleb son of Jephunneh(B) and gave him Hebron(C) as his inheritance.(D) 14 So Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the Lord, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly.(E) 15 (Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba(F) after Arba,(G) who was the greatest man among the Anakites.)
