5 The Israelites divided up the land exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Caleb receives Hebron
6 In Gilgal, the people of Judah approached Joshua. Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses, man of God, about you and me when we were in Kadesh-barnea. 7 I was 40 years old when Moses the Lord’s servant sent me from Kadesh-barnea to scout out the land. I brought back a report to him of what I really thought.

6 Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal,(B) and Caleb son of Jephunneh(C) the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God(D) at Kadesh Barnea(E) about you and me.(F) 7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea(G) to explore the land.(H) And I brought him back a report according to my convictions,(I)
