¹⁶^(A)And Caleb said, “He who ^[a]attacks Kirjath Sepher and takes it, to him I will give Achsah my daughter as wife.”

¹⁶And Caleb said, “I will give my daughter Aksah^(A) in marriage to the man who attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher.”

¹⁷So ^(A)Othniel the ^(B)son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him ^(C)Achsah his daughter as wife.

¹⁷Othniel^(A) son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, took it; so Caleb gave his daughter Aksah to him in marriage.
