⁸ Then the border went up the Valley of Ben-hinnom to the slope of the ^(A)Jebusite on the south (that is, Jerusalem); and the border went up to the top of the mountain which is opposite the Valley of Hinnom to the west, which is at the end of the Valley of Rephaim toward the north.

^10 (A)He also defiled ^[a]Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, ^(B)so that no one would make his son or his daughter pass through the fire for ^(C)Molech.

³¹ They have ^(A)built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of Ben-hinnom, to ^(B)burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I ^(C)did not command, and it did not come into My ^[a]mind.

³² “^(D)Therefore, behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be called Topheth, or the Valley of Ben-hinnom, but the Valley of the Slaughter; for they will ^(E)bury in Topheth ^[b]because there is no other place.

³⁵ They built the ^(A)high places of Baal that are in the Valley of Ben-hinnom to make their sons and their daughters pass through the fire to ^(B)Molech, which I had not commanded them, nor had it ^[a]entered My mind that they should do this abomination, to mislead Judah to sin.
