Joshua 17:13-15

13 It came about when the sons of Israel became strong, (A)they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but they did not [a]drive them out completely.
14 Then the (B)sons of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, “Why have you given me only one lot and one portion for an inheritance, since I am a numerous people whom the Lord has thus far blessed?” 15 Joshua said to them, “If you are a numerous people, go [b]up to the forest and [c]clear a place for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.”

14 The people of Joseph said to Joshua, “Why have you given us only one allotment and one portion for an inheritance? We are a numerous people, and the Lord has blessed us abundantly.”(B)
15 “If you are so numerous,” Joshua answered, “and if the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go up into the forest(C) and clear land for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites(D) and Rephaites.(E)”
