²⁴ They said to Joshua, “Surely the Lord has given all the land into our hands; moreover, ^(A)all the inhabitants of the land have ^[a]melted away before us.”

⁸ The Lord said to Joshua, “^(A)Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands; not ^[a]one of them shall stand before you.”

⁶ Then the Lord said to Joshua, “^(A)Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel; you shall ^(B)hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”
