4 But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them; and she said, “True, men came to me, but I did not know where they came from; 5 and when the gate was to be closed, at dark, the men went out; where the men went I do not know; pursue them quickly, for you will overtake them.” 6 But she had brought them up to the roof, and hid them with the stalks of flax which she had laid in order on the roof.

4 But the woman had taken the two men(A) and hidden them.(B) She said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they had come from. 5 At dusk, when it was time to close the city gate,(C) they left. I don’t know which way they went. Go after them quickly. You may catch up with them.”(D) 6 (But she had taken them up to the roof and hidden them under the stalks of flax(E) she had laid out on the roof.)(F)
