20 Did not Achan son of Zerah commit treachery with devoted things,[a] and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? And he alone[b] did not perish because of his iniquity.’”
21 And the descendants[c] of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh spoke with the heads of the clans[d] of Israel, 22 “Yahweh, God of gods! Yahweh, God of gods knows. And let Israel itself know, if it was in rebellion or treachery against Yahweh, do not spare us this day

20 When Achan son of Zerah was unfaithful in regard to the devoted things,[a](A) did not wrath(B) come on the whole community(C) of Israel? He was not the only one who died for his sin.’”(D)
21 Then Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh replied to the heads of the clans of Israel: 22 “The Mighty One, God, the Lord! The Mighty One, God,(E) the Lord!(F) He knows!(G) And let Israel know! If this has been in rebellion or disobedience to the Lord, do not spare us this day.
