33 The Israelites were satisfied with their report and gave thanks to God.[a] They said nothing more about launching an attack to destroy the land in which the Reubenites and Gadites lived.[b] 34 The Reubenites and Gadites named the altar, “Surely it is a Reminder to us[c] that the Lord is God.”
