2 Joshua summoned all Israel, their elders, heads, judges, and officials, and he said to them, “I am old and well-advanced in years,[a] 3 and you have seen all that Yahweh your God has done to all these nations for your sake,[b] for Yahweh your God is fighting for you. 4 Look! I have allotted to you these remaining nations as an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, to the Great Sea[c] in the west.[d]

2 summoned all Israel—their elders,(A) leaders, judges and officials(B)—and said to them: “I am very old.(C) 3 You yourselves have seen everything the Lord your God has done to all these nations for your sake; it was the Lord your God who fought for you.(D) 4 Remember how I have allotted(E) as an inheritance(F) for your tribes all the land of the nations that remain—the nations I conquered—between the Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea(G) in the west.
