28 So Joshua sent the people away to their inheritances.
Death of Joshua and Eleazar
29 After these things Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, being one hundred ten years old.(A) 30 They buried him in his own inheritance at Timnath-serah, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.(B)
31 Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua and had known all the work that the Lord did for Israel.(C)

28 Then Joshua dismissed the people, each to their own inheritance.(A)
Buried in the Promised Land(B)
29 After these things, Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died(C) at the age of a hundred and ten.(D) 30 And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath Serah[a](E) in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.(F)
31 Israel served the Lord throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders(G) who outlived him and who had experienced everything the Lord had done for Israel.
